Farewell to Clowns

The brilliant poster Trasker over at TWoP came up with this little ditty in honor of Jon and Al, circus clowns and the best Amazing Racers ever, who were unfortunately eliminated this week because of fog delaying their flight. There are some nicknames and in-jokes. Reichip=Reichen and Chip, Who=David and Jeff, JoKe=Jon and Kelly.

Sung to the tune of "Send in the Clowns"

Wasn't it rich?
Weren't they a pair?
Al with his red rubber nose,
Jon balanced chairs.
Farewell to clowns

Weren't they sweet?
Two goofy flakes,
One who keeps juggling things,
One who spit-takes
Where are the clowns,
Bring back the clowns

Just when I'd hoped
My team could win
Knowing my constant approval always does them in.
They're making their exit once more with their usual flair
Three teams are left..
But no one cares.

Their flight was delayed
Fog's fault, i fear.
They put on their noses with gusto,
And hoped it would clear
But no luck for clowns,
Bring back the clowns.

What a surprise,
Who could foresee?
Though no one is sure who they are, "Who"'s in the top three
JoKe keeps on plugging along as they yell and they shriek
Give Kelly a thrill,
She'll run for a week.

Isn't it rich?
Ain't it a gas?
Reichip have beaten our boys though they acted like ass.
But where are the clowns?
We're all out of clowns.
Well maybe next year.
