Pomegranates and snow

I had a pomegranate for the first time today! I've wanted to eat one since I first read the myth of Persephone, and they were on sale at Safeway this week. Today was a good day to eat one, because it was the first snowfall of the year. Beth was acting like a nut, running around outside to catch one on her tongue, and calling her family. She had never seen snow fall before, can you believe it? There's really no equivalent for Northerners living in the South "Its still hot, woo-hoo!"
