St. John's

August 13, 2003
I've been going through my stuff, trying to figure out what to take in the little bag we're allowed to bring to orientation, what to ship, what to store, and what to give away. I managed to give 15 books to the library book sale, and I finally threw away all the catalogs to the colleges I didn't go to. Except for the one I never got up the courage to even apply to, St. John's. Kenyon is messy because I really went there, but St. John's can exist in my mind as the perfect ivory tower, with only 400 students and everyone learning Greek and French and discussing the great books.

I'm talking to Chris, one of my housemates, on IM. Both guys are Yankees fans, so we're almost the majority! That's nice to know.
